OK Everybody Up! UP UP UP! Rise and Shine! It’s Saturday everyone. Can you believe it? It’s not Christmas in July, it’s September in July. Perfect day to stay inside and tackle a few of those chores around the house. You know …. Dusting, moving furniture, power washing the inside of the fridge, catching up on the DVR – Oh wait. That’s not a chore.
Here’s some inspiration to get you going. Get your list and at the bottom put this word PRIZE! I love rewards – yep! That’s me. So here’s my plan. I’ve been busy on my list already and when I get enough accomplished, I’m going to the library. I haven’t been there in months. Then I’m going to put on my long johns and parka and go to Taste of Middleville. I love these small community events. I think of this planning and orchestrating like Paul told us in 1 Corinthians about needing self-discipline. See what he wrote in verses 24-25 “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”
