Refining Grace: Writing Encouragement Into Life

Healing Words

I believe that every now and then something so spectacular happens that we remember it forever.

But most of the time life is experience recycled. Our moments seem like no big deal until they are gone like vapor. Then one day we look back. We meet our past while standing in the aisle at the supermarket. We are reminded of a conversation while walking along the shore at dusk. A song takes us back to a time long forgotten.

What will we remember? How do we want to remember this event, this day, this season?

Be careful with your moments because they become your memories.

This blog spreads encouragement – support, graciousness, and a kind word. There is enough conflict in the world for which there is no solution. What you read here, you might disagree with and that’s OK. This is not the place to argue or debate. It is also a place of no political views, no bashing, no malice, no fighting. Derogatory comments will be unapproved and deleted.

Refining Grace lives up to the name.

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.
2 Thessalonians 2:16‭-‬17 CSB
