Surrounded by Joy

OK everybody up! Rise and shine! Good Morning ♪♫•*¨ To You ¸•♫¸.•.¸ ¸♥¸*♫*•.¸¸♥Good Morning ♪♫•*¨ To You ¸•♫¸.•.¸¸♥¸*♫*•.¸¸♥
On the second day of Christmas – JOY! Joy to the world, the Lord has come. Two thousand years ago, the shepherds were surrounded by joy, everyone in the presence of the newborn king were surrounded by joy. Today, can we be surrounded by joy? We can if we get our perspectives right. Jesus-Others-You spells joy.  We can surround ourselves with positive people and feed off their joy when our own is exhausted. Do you know anyone who can walk into a room and the lights go out? Well, maybe not visibly, but just by their talk and their attitude it’s like being in shadows. These frienemies are your friends, but they are enemies of joy. Befriend them, then be gone. Joy has no chance to thrive in a negative atmosphere so let’s drag ourselves away from all that and find a place where joy has a chance. Do you know a place to start? Do you know any positive people who live their joy out loud? If not, it might have to kindle in you so you can share your joy and start the fire in yourself, in your family, in your neighborhood, and your workplace. It can happen to you and it will be awesome. When you’ve got the inside right, the rest will take care of itself.
Yesterday, my joyful friend Mirna texted me and said, meet me for 5 minutes before you start your job today. I expected a smile, a hug, and energizing joy. What I didn’t expect was her prayer for me – audible, in the hallway while dozens of co-workers walked by, she prayed, then I prayed – surrounded by joy right there in the hall of Amway. Joy! Heaven came down and there was joy all around. We need to be infused with joy, surrounded by joy, and live in the presence of joy.  Jesus-Others-You that’s where the joy comes from.
