Encouragement – like it or not

The road ahead may seem impossible, might even seem like there is no road ahead, but that’s how life is.

Mysterious, overgrown with complications, messy and often cold … Fear Not!
Deuteronomy 31:6 (MSG) “Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”
And if that’s not encouraging enough fast foward to Ephesians 3:20-21 where these inspiring words are found “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.” Sometimes it takes a little divine revelation to push the cold snow aside and see the widened path with new perspective. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
Sometimes do you feel like giving up, thowing in the towel, sleeping through the next week so you don’t have to add one more thing to your list, participate in one more ‘special’ activity, travel one more mile on ice infused roads? Seriously! Whether you feel like it or not, I’m sendng encouragement for your day. I hope it lights a flame and warms you from the inside out … Galatians 6:9-10 “So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
